This year saw the return of Blyth Christmas Market. This event has continued to grow over the years it has been active and this year was no different!
Many local traders got involved and joined with the weekend market traders for the 2 day event held in the heart of Blyth at the Market Place.
This years event was organised by Blyth Development Trust, they are a charity based in Blyth to develop the town and run events for the community. Lesley Davie from the trust said
“Thanks to everyone involved from Milly Performance Academy, Limitless Dance, Beach Hut Radio presenter Daniel Wilkinson and Brandon Ferson and to all the stall holders for a very successful weekend. ”
The event saw thousands of people over the corse of the weekend and gave traders from he local area a great platform to sell their products .One member of the public said
“I really enjoyed the day, the entertainment on stage was great and event got to stop off for a hog roast!”
Ferguson also got involved with the event providing one of their articulated trailers to be used as a stage for both of the days.
On stage saw performances from Milly Performance Academy and Limitless Dance all brought together and introduced by Beach Hut Radio presenters Brandon Ferson and Daniel Wilkinson.
The event was a big success showcasing what can be done when a community comes together. This event is ran by volunteers who have gave up their own time to do this event which was a great success!
