Recently Dan from NE News got the opertunutg to get aboard the Tyne Idols tour bus and join them for one of their coastal tours.
Starting at Tynemouth we climbed aboard and got sat down, the bus was lit up with LED’s and had the music pumping!
Leaving Tynemouth we headed along the coast through Whitley Bay and season sluice all whilst having a brilliant commentary by the fantastic Ray Laidshaw.
Moving on we went to the wallow in Blyth to have a quick drink before getting back on the bus for more music and story’s from Billy who had worked on the TV show Super Gran.
We carried on through Whitley bay again around the front street and past the Jam Jar cinema.
Our next stop was “The Exchange” which is a cultural arts venue where we stopped for a drink and had the opportunity to meet another of Rays guests.
After having a potter about we got back onto the bus and headed back to Tynemouth!
All in All this is a fantastic tour and we would recommend it to anyone interested in the North East or music. Speaking to some of the people on the bus was another great asset to the tour as many had some great stories to tell as well.
